خلاصہ

During the period of three (3) years with the firm I was involved in various assignments in Audit & Assurance and Enterprise Risk Services. The various sectors I worked in ranged from manufacturing industry to the service providers. The assignments included full scope audits, limited reviews, agreed upon procedures in accordance with the regulatory requirements, etc. the ensuing paras describe the major tasks I performed during my training period:

 Being part of planning, execution and completion of various audit assignments as per the requirements of International Audit Approach (IAA) of Deloitte, International Auditing Standards and pronouncements of the local regulatory bodies;
 Involved as a part of Team for Initial planning of the job and identified risk areas during the process;
 Understanding Design and Implementation of Controls and testing of their operating effectiveness;
 Assessment of control risk and designing the tests of controls for specific areas in consultation with the engagement manager and supervisor;
 Designing and Implementation the substantive procedures in consultation with the engagement manager and supervisor;
 Performing the test of control and substantive procedures highlighting the issues/ matters;
 Reviewing the work done by the team members and getting it reviewed by the supervisor and engagement manager;
 Extensive application of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and aided in preparation of financial statements in compliance therewith;
 Verifying compliance with various laws relating to the client.
 Worked on the audit software of Deloitte i.e. AS/2, ACL
 Worked in a network environment.
