Worked as Director Administration in DHA Karachi ,in this position I was responsible for the entire Administrative functions of DHA Karachi .Before that worked in Army Supply Chain Management Department for 30 years. Headed organizations / setups having more than 800 employees. And was responsible for all their administrative tasks. Was responsible for forecasting, procurement, storage and disposal of a vast inventory. Was responsible for management of Inventory consisting of over 15000 items. Responsible for Inventory Management of large number of Ware houses in multiple locations. Carried out Inventory management of Gen stores, clothing, weapons, ammunition, electro medical stores, engineering stores and vehicles. Was responsible for correct forecasting and placing indents, of vast variety of stores for a large organization. Was responsible for correct utilization of large budgets for procurement of high value items. Carrying out procurement at competitive rates, ensuring quality control and rate reasonability. Managed Inventory of Stores, requiring special storage conditions i.e chillers and coolers. Negotiations with firms, market survey, floating invitation tenders, preparation of comparative statements and procurement of good quality stores at competitive prices. Overall responsibility for correct storage and Ware House Management Including inventory tracking. Worked on various software pertaining to ware house management & supply chain management. Responsible for correct receipt, Accounting & stock taking of stores. Was responsible for carrying out auction of Large Inventory of unserviceable stores. Security and safety of Ware house area spread over 7 square kilometers. Administration of over 800 employs Was responsible for Human resource development, Discipline , Career progression and future employment of over 800 employs. Plan and direct activities related to Logistics , Security ,Convoy security and various operations related to security. Tasking and distribution of staff as per Operational requirements. Carrying out periodic security and Fire Fighting rehearsals. Ensuring maintenance and serviceability of Fire Fighting equipment.
