Key responsibilities
Responsible for activities regarding new and re-new Business in Underwriting Department
p§  Responsible for preparation of weekly portfolio report and forward it to supervisor every Monday/p
p§  Responsible for issuance of hold cover letter / extension letter, preparation of RBIF/NBIF, specifying the terms and conditions to be forwarded to the concerned person after receiving confirmation and complete information from client within a working day.
p§  Responsible for complete analysis of renewals (Loss ratio, data census, comparison of benefit, comparison of premium, comparison of census), 30 days before expiry./p
p§  Responsible for evaluate current customers credit information such as Claim Ratio, Paying trend and claim history to determine the renewal Premium and risk/p
p§  Responsible for new product development and innovations in existing products/p
p§  Preparation of all new Business Quotation’s risk scrutiny in the light of requirement of the client and offer the best suitable Plans which fulfill the needs of the client. Also Analyze the quotation will have Positive affect on company’s performance/p
p§  Analyzed health insurance data like benefits wise, Plan wise, relation wise premium and claim etc by using the advance features of Microsoft Excel to check the frequency and other information for pricing purpose  /p
p§  Preparation for all group or corporate renewals with consideration of overall portfolio loss ratio/p
p§  Proposing alternative solutions that alternative solutions that would be benefit the client through optimum premium or suitable benefit that may be interest for the company/p
p§  Responsible for the Medical Underwriting calculations and discuss with doctors regarding the client pre-existing risk and charge the Loading in premium on disclose the pre-existing illness./p
