Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.
Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RF P's, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.
Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
Issue Contracts, Letters of Intent, Purchase Orders, etc.
Assist the PM in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval.
Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations.
Assist QA, QC and site construction team to address technical issues and establish method statements.
Lead and direct routine engineering division activities.
Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensure that all materials used and work performs is as per specifications.
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
Ensuring equipment and procedures comply with safety regulations.
Solving problems and providing technical advice.
Ensure site safety.
Prepare presents regular progress reports to the Project manager.
Ensure that the construction work carried out, achieves the stages within reasonable time as set forth in the approved construction plan of the project.
