Major Job Responsibilities
To prepare sales forecast based on information collected from customers. To prepare a consolidated wholesales plan in coordination with the procurement department, customers and the sales staff for the right product mix to avoid unwanted inventory. To keep updated with stock position.
To coordinate with the customers (distributors/ retailers/ bulk end users) to know their future requirements.
To identify opportunities in the local market for specific existing or new products.
Coordinate and monitor the delivery operation till unloading in customer warehouse/premises. Submission of invoice & payment follow up. To issue directions/guidelines to staff and customers for handling, transportation and storage of product (chemicals) for safety and compliance regulatory requirements.
Determination of product mix by Negotiating prices, quality, credit terms , delivery schedule with customers. Informing the customers of the final price & change, if any, due to any factor.
Monitoring performance as per business plan. Coordinate, liaise effectively with Management, customers and staff for execution of wholesale operation properly.
Monitoring business performance and keep eye on market scenarios and activities of competitors through staff, agents and distributors and report to management if something commercially significant noticed.
