1. Responsible for operating complex safely, reliably and efficiently in accordance with O&M guidelines, technical limits andapproved operating procedures.2. To maintain close liaison with NPCC/RCC/NTDC, 132KV Marala Grid Station for all the necessary activities regarding switching operations, and Complex status.3. To perform and ensure safe isolation of plant for repair and maintenance work, issuance of PTW to maintenancecompetent person and to normalize / test the plant.4. Responsible for efficient operation of plant during the restoration of supply after station blackout or system collapse.5. Prepare / Review and comment on all plant Incident Reports analyze equipment failures, determine causes recommend recovery plans and develop cost-effective solutions to prevent reoccurrence.6. To ensure & verify that units generated figures, outage data and other relevant data recorded on daily basis.7. To comply with all technical limits requirement, approved operating procedure & power purchase agreement (PPA)requirement.8. Ensure the safety procedures and workplace practices implemented and adhered to at the Power Plant.9. Ensure the safe and Optimum operation and maintenance of all Plant equipment within prescribed operating parameters.10. Take initiatives and measures to minimize the plant down time and maximize the plant availability and operationalefficiency.11 Ascertain the training needs and develop training & skill improvement programs internally and externally for Operations staff.12. Evaluate the performance of operation staff and make necessary recommendations.13. Interactive participation in daily internal and external meetings.14. Ascertain and ensure all preventive, periodic and corrective maintenance requirements.15. Plan to maintain a reasonable level of House Keeping and take necessary measures for Environmental protection at Power Plant.

1. Responsible for the safe operation of Complex Start Up and Shut Down procedure.2. Daily correspondence with NPCC (via Telecom, Fax & Website), RCC North (Islamabad), 132kV Gadoon Grid .3. Stations and preparation of Daily Generation Reports.Preparation & issuance of Permits along with its isolation & implementation of LOTO prior to start the work.4. Prepare / Review and comment on all plant Incident Reports analyze equipment failures, determine causes recommend recovery plans and develop cost-effective solutions to prevent reoccurrence.5. Coordinate all plant work in-house and contracted work involving construction, operational services, and maintenance services.6. Planning and scheduling the Power House maintenance and maintain the respective records.7. Checking of Operation Log sheets, Notify the abnormalities in the operating trends of the equipment, take preventive and corrective measures, report to the Operations Manager and maintain the records properly.8. To comply with all technical limits requirement, approved operating procedure & energy purchase agreement (EPA)requirement.9. Ascertain the training needs and develop training & skill improvement programs internally and externally for Operations staff
