I have worked as Manager Finance & Taxation with Speedaf Express (Pvt.) Limited a chinese Logistic and Courier Conglomerate, operating in Eight (8) Regions of the world. I was managing the Finance & Tax department of the company and was reporting to the Head of Finance - Asia Pecific.
Earlier, i have worked as Manager Finance & Taxation in “Fresenius Medical Care Pakistan (FMC)”, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care, a German Multinational group listed at US Stock Exchange and operating in more than 160 countries with more than 215,000 employees. The group was operating under ERP environment and all business processes & data processing was carried out by SAP Software. I was managing the Finance & Tax department of FMC carrying all Finance and taxation matters and directly reportable to Director Finance.
Earlier, I have worked as Supervisor Taxation at “KPMG, Lahore one of the big four accountancy and consultancy firm all over the world. My role was to supervise the taxation matters (including both direct and indirect taxes) of various clients.
I have been engaged as supervisor Taxation & Legal Compliances in “Ilyas Saeed & Co. Chartered Accountants (ISCO)”, a member firm of MGI Worldwide (a top 16 ranked international accounting network) and a QCR rated firm certified by (ICAP) and categorized as ‘Category A’ firm both under SBP and SECP Insurance Division.
I have hands on experience of sole managing the tax clients and assignments involving legal as well as statutory compliance of Public Listed companies, Public unlisted companies, Private companies, Government / Semi Government companies, Foreign establishments, Liaison offices, NGOs, Funds, Trust, AOP’s, individual etc.).
Moreover, I have hands on experience of making Representation/ Appeals/ Assessments to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Islamabad, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Lahore, Federal Tax Ombudsman, Lahore, Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR), Lahore, Commissioner (Appeals) and Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Lahore.
