I am a Mechanical Engineer who is ambitious and thinks out of the box for solutions, adaptable with environment, flexible with people.
With my majors in Machine Designing and Finite Element Analysis I have done different research projects. During my studies at DSU I have been involved in both curricular and co-curricular projects by being an active associate of ASME and RENE chapters. Having a strong background of manufacturing knowledge I have been able to implement new ideas for the manufacturing of components which are not easily available in local market.
I have an objective of learning and practicing in my discipline and serve my country with the best knowledge and skills that I have.
Direct involvement, supervision, planning and execution of routine/preventive maintenance for rotary and stationary equipment which include Oven, Chiller, Generator, Exhaust and Fresh Air etc.
Responsible for the planning, scheduling, supervising and execution of predictive, preventive, routine, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
Execute preventive, routine and outage maintenance work, and co-ordinate with sub ordinates in the assurance of permit for work.
Develop maintenance schedules and programs and guide the maintenance crew accordingly.
Prepare reports which include shutdown reports, daily activity report, weekly maintenance reports, monthly and yearly department achievement reports, technical reports of equipment, overhauling reports, and annual budget reports.
Prepare documents for the issuance of material spares, lubricants etc., and intimate the stock position to the manager.
Create work orders for maintenance activities and close it after completion with insertion of manpower involved, working hours consumed, materials used and suborders created against the main work order.
Keep and maintain history record of equipment.
Prepare purchase requisitions of spares, equipment and parts involved in maintenance activity.
Designing of equipment and inventory data for SAP implementation.
• To carryout product and machinery parameter inspection on set intervals and record the data.
• To ensure the running of production line on standard parameters and take necessary actions in case of any deviation.
• To assist production head in carrying out daily production tasks.
• To assist and take measures to ensure output yield to the optimum level and achieve quality parameters.
• Ensure consistent feeding of product to packing line for avoiding any stoppage.
• To support the production control staff and give them proper training.
• To assist in cleaning activities of all equipment as per schedule.
• Ensure the activities in accident free environment.
• Ensure production/ machine consumables always available in required numbers.
• To carryout machine inspection and make sure all machine work with their optimum efficiency.
• To run the complete plant as Shift Incharge.
• To assist Packing Line and understand Packing Machine's function, operation and troubleshooting.
The responsibilities include:
1. Scheduling of preventive maintenance in the plant.
2. Assigning task to the labor to carry out maintenance.
3. Managing maintenance activities and record keeping of activities and replacement of parts.
4. Supervision of mechanical workshop and technical store.
5. Maintaining a CMMS profile for different maintenance activities.
The projects assigned were:

2. Identification of causes for piston rod defects.
