I have a cumulative experience of 1 year, 3 months on various research and academic projects mostly related to computer aided drawing and engineering. I am currently looking for a career opportunity in the field of computational mechanics where I can grow as a perfect design and engineering professional. I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity as soon as possible.
My background includes serving as a research assistant working on projects that are related with mathematical modeling of real world problems and their solution using numerical techniques. Might that be from Computational Solid Mechanics to Computational Thermodynamics, from Computational Fluid Dynamics to Finite Element Method. The use of computational methods to solve physical problems interests me and to pursue my interest, I have also completed a certified course in Engineering Simulations from Cornell University, USA in which I learned more about the numerical analysis of fluid flow, aerodynamic analysis of flow over immersed bodies and heat transfer analysis using numerical methods as well as complex Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) in physical systems such as Wind Turbine. I also have a strong grip on other CAE software’s like ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS CFX & Fluent, ABAQUS, COMSOL Multiphysics as well as Pre-Processing and Post-Processing software’s like Gambit and CFD Post and have used these software’s in various projects. On the other hand, I also have advance programming as well as computer aided drawing experience and very well acquainted to software’s like Matlab, C++ and SolidWorks.
Previously, I have worked as an Aerospace Design Engineer in a small term project in which I was responsible for structural design & analysis of MALE Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). My work was mostly related to mathematical modeling of physical problems and solving it through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) scheme. Me and my team was also responsible for the optimization of CAD model of the UAV.
Worked on publishing a research paper as well as on various academic and research projects with my Final Year Project Advisor.
Worked as a Design Engineer at the Research & Development (R&D) Department of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex for 2 months. I was responsible for structural design & analysis of MALE Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
Completed a 4 weeks Internship at the Maintenance Department of ARL, in which I was exposed to the different mechanical components used in the refinery and learned the basics and applications of various processes that occurs during the refining of crude oil. During my internship, I was also given health and safety training from the HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) Department of ARL. In the end, I was assigned to produce a progress report on the company’s crude oil refining methods.
