Þ Assist staff in processing Job Requests and ensure availability of updated JDs showing essential and desired job competencies/skills.

Under the overall supervision of “Programme Manager” and direct supervision of the “Project Manager” the incumbent will have to ensure a timely and effective implementation of the project activities, with the below TORs;
Protection Monitoring
Þ Monitor the protection situation on daily basis and make regular contact with the targeted community to identify incidents and protection concerns, including gaps in service provision.
Þ As part of protection monitoring conduct daily spot observations, focus group discussions (FGDs) with key informants and individual/household interviews with informants and IDP populations, and area/thematic assessments to identify IDP protection needs and gaps in service provision, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups, especially women and girls.
Þ Systematically gather and update the data on Extremely Vulnerable Individuals (EVIs) to ensure facilitation through referrals and timely interventions.
Þ Collect information on basic living conditions and specific issues of concern, including information related to access to shelter, food, healthcare, clean water and hygiene, education, safety and protection services.
Þ Collect baseline data on monthly basis on sectoral activities for analysis
Þ Provide support in data collection for various surveys as requested by UNHCR
Referral and Case Management:
Þ Record each incident and protection concern separately using the available reporting format, and respond appropriately either by providing direct advice or assistance or by referring beneficiaries to appropriate service providers. Follow-up as necessary, maintaining clear records of all referrals, follow-ups and case outcomes.
Þ Refer specific protection-related incidents identified during monitoring (such as theft or physical violence, denial to assistance and/or services, and discrimination related to assistance and/or services to appropriate service providers, prioritizing EVIs.
Þ Ensure that newly displaced families access registration services by referring them to relevant organization, and verify that family members are not separated
Information Dissemination/ Awareness Raising / Community Mobilization:
Þ Using key messaging materials, like brochures, Question and Answer (Q&A) sheets and posters, conduct awareness-raising sessions with IDPs on topics such as fire safety, health, hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, protection, security, the IDP Guiding Principles, registration and other issues as required (2 sessions per week in each Phase, with 20 participants in each session).
Þ During the awareness-raising sessions, field visits, protection monitoring and meetings with key stakeholders, disseminate copies of the Guiding Principles of Internal Displacement
Facilitate safe and voluntary return of IDPs:
Þ Conduct Return Intention Surveys prior to the return process, in line with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement.
Þ Share the latest information on the situation in the areas of origin of the IDPs, staying in displaced areas in consultation with the Shura members.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision of “Project Manager” and direct supervision of the “Field Coordinator” the incumbent will have to ensure a timely and effective implementation of the project activities, with the following TORs;
Þ Record issues faced by IDPs (including issues during the registration/verification process, data not shifted properly to the return area, food block, family tree change, IDPs missed from a survey or assistance, etc.) and provide necessary information in response to reported issues;
Þ Update and correct IDP registration records and share that information with relevant agencies, including UNHCR and FDMA, for assistance;
Þ With support from Protection Officers collect and compile up-to-date information on registration, camp records, services available in the camp, and the return process (including about the documents necessary for registration; return package, and durable solutions; etc.)
Þ Provide information and advice on issues related to registration, services available in the host area, and the return process;
Þ Refer beneficiaries seeking registration or voluntary return to the relevant IPs;
Þ Refer EVIs to the Protection Officers or to relevant service providers for assistance;
Þ Provide advice on the appropriate procedures and referral to relevant services for IDPs who have returned to hosting areas due to perceptions of insecurity in their area of origin or for other reasons.
Þ Share information collected and grievances documented with the relevant organizations for response, as necessary, as well as with UNHCR.
