As an enthusiastic STEM educator and advocate, I have been deeply involved with the esteemed Pakistan Science Club since 2008, where my journey of scientific exploration and community engagement began. Over the years, I have been fortunate to contribute to various meaningful initiatives, making a positive impact on the lives of aspiring young scientists and educators.
My passion for promoting science education led me to organize and lead engaging STEM-based summer and winter camps, providing students with hands-on experiences and fostering their curiosity for the wonders of science. Additionally, I have actively participated in teachers training workshops, imparting the principles of STEM education to fellow educators, empowering them to create dynamic and inspiring learning environments for their students.
As a research assistant on a prestigious project, I was part of a team that achieved remarkable success, qualifying for the regional and national rounds of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. This experience not only enriched my knowledge but also strengthened my determination to contribute to groundbreaking research endeavors.
In my capacity as a science teacher since 2017, I embarked on a pilot project with the community of science communicators named OMG Science. Through the Annual Science Festival, we aimed to create a platform for young scientists and junior scientists to showcase their creativity and innovation. The festival featured diverse events, including a captivating Fun Science Show, thought-provoking Science Projects Display, a STEM Space fostering innovation, a thrilling Water Rocket Competition, and an intellectually stimulating Bridge Building Competition.
My journey in the field of science education and communication has been a truly rewarding one, and I am excited to continue contributing to the advancement of STEM education and the promotion of scientific curiosity and critical thinking in the next phase of my career.
