During my tenure serving as Senior Associate at KPMG, I had the opportunity of performing, in an excellent corporate environment, the following professional tasks:

Accounting & Risk Advisory:

Internal controls evaluation, detection of control weaknesses and suggesting appropriate improvements for the system.
Compilation of HR manuals & SOPs.
Identification of design gaps, opportunities for process improvements and finally development of standard operating policy for entities.
Review of Fixed Assets, ascertaining integrity of records, generation of coding system, pasting of codes on assets and compilation of fixed assets register.
Establishing good professional relationship with the clients management and assisting them to resolve technical issues relating to specific accounting treatments.
Training of staff on new accounting or internal control procedures implemented.
Providing book keeping and other accounting services.

Audit & Assurance Services:

Obtaining an understanding of client business, its nature, objectives and strategies to identify key risk areas during the process.
Obtaining an understanding of internal controls and identifying control weaknesses, its risk implications and recommendations.
Initial planning and scheduling of audit programs and ensuring timely completion of audits with the use of e-Audit.
Extensive exposure of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance therewith.
Meeting the time deadlines for international reporting during audit of private and multinational companies.
Establishing good professional relationship with the clients management and assisting them to resolve technical issues relating to specific accounting treatment.
