Worked for 3.5 years at A.F Ferguson & Co. Chartered Accountants (a member firm of PwC network) as Audit Associate. During the tenure of Articleship I performed various external audits of different entities operating in various sectors such as manufacturing, power and trading. During my articles I have completed following jobs in capacity of Audit Senior,
(1) Punjab Judicial Academy (Non for Profit), year end June 14 & June 15.
(2) Levis Strauss Pakistan (Private) Limited (Retail), year end November 15.
(3) Levis Strauss Global Trading Company - Pakistan Liaison Office - (Trading), year end November 15.
(4) Quaid E Azam Thermal Power (Private) Limited (Power), year end June 16.
As a Senior on these jobs I was responsible for completion of jobs in timely manner. I was also assigned with the responsibility of;
(1) Reviewing areas of junior team members
(2) Handling taxation issues (computation of current and deferred tax and correspondence with tax authorities where necessary)
(3) Handling complex areas such as stocks and investments; and
(4) Preparing complete set of financial statement which includes Statement of financial position, Statement of comprehensive income, Statement of cash flow, Statement of changes in equity and Related notes.
As a Semi Senior I have completed some complex areas on various jobs one of such was Capital Work In Progress on Quaid E Azam Solar Power (Private) Limited.
