Joined Salamat School System as Manager Purchase in February 2012. Now major areas of responsibility include
Planning supply chain schedules in advance in preparation for busy seasonal periods;
Keeping in touch with suppliers and developing cordial relationships with them;
Negotiating with suppliers to minimize raw material and transportation costs
Making sure that all supplier information and records are up to date;
Overseeing the development and utilisation of a supplier database
Monitoring timely delivery of consignments as per requirement of every campus;
Keeping accurate records of products, contracts, pricing and invoicing information;
Obtaining quotes and also making cost comparisons
Carrying out the initial and also on-going assessment of the supply chain
Managing stock, goods and raw materials across different locations;
Operations responsibilities for all activities between campuses and HO;

Developing and implementing supply chain related policies and procedures
Managed purchasing and ordering Programs, Warehouse operations and sale activities;
Ensuring that all staff adhere to strict Health and Safety policies whilst working;
Order Placing with vendors with best prices;
Holding regular meetings, face-to-face and over the phone with vendors;
Monitoring timely delivery of consignments;
Buying Planning raw material to make the products before time;
Visit market on regular basis for Procurement of all required products;
