Monitor excitation system, inspection of circuit breakers ,transformers and metering instruments on daily basis.

Supervision of testing and commissioning of GIS and AIS. Testing includes dielectric test, resistance measurement of the circuits, tightness test, temperature rise check, pressure test on portion, low and high temperature verification's.
Supervision of rotor and stator testing like insulation resistance (IR), winding resistance, growler, phase balance, surge comparison, polarity and ball rotation test.
Routine maintenance and testing of excitation system. Self excitation and separate excitation systems. Excitation system supply and regulate the amount of D.C current required by generator field winding.
