• Responsible to perform all administrative activities at the departmental level as well as maintaining collaboration with other respective departments. Key Responsibilities:
• Making and Maintaining Timetable, Date sheet for exams, letters, Memos, Emails, etc.
• Planning to perform departmental activities smoothly and making sure to run all activities accordingly.
• Working as a bridge between Students, Admin, Head of Department, and other departments to run all procedures smoothly.
• Managing the availability of classes and lecturers at given time slots and after this monitoring all the activities.
• Assisting Head of Department in all activities of either departmental or institutional.
• Admissions & Registration: Conducting UGAT general and UGAT Subjects for MS and Ph.D. respectively. Conducting interviews for MS and Ph.D. admissions. Course offering of BS/MS/Ph.D. in ERP. Course offering of BS/MS/Ph.D. on Moodle.
• Data Compilation and Record Management: Prepare PAN forms for external and internal examiners. Prepare Letters. Record management related to all faculty members. Record maintenance related to students of BS/MS/Ph.D. Chemistry. Prepare workload of faculty of Chemistry Department. Conducting feedback activity for all theory and lab courses.
• Reports and Meetings: Prepare Annual report data. Prepare Semester wise activity reports of the Chemistry Department. Summarizing reports and information to facilitate review by supervisor and resolving problems of the department faculty and students within the scope of the position. Plan and arrange meetings (School, Department, DGC, BOS, and BOF) under general instructions from supervisor, communicate arrangements to appropriate individuals. Prepare minutes of the meeting.
• Event Management: Arrange seminars. Conduct MS Thesis defense presentations. Conduct Ph.D. Synopsis presentations. Arrange Orientation for new students. Done with duty in convocation.
