People Management:-
Maintain professional and ethical relationships with external parties, suppliers, and service providers.
Communicate internally with Plant Managers and Materials Resource Planners the timely arrival of raw materials and with Plant Managers and Sales Service Departments for timely dispatch of finished goods and meet with them at least once a month for accurate and up-to-date information flow.
Coordinate with transporters and other service providers to ensure timely and in full dispatches of raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain a healthy relationship with service providers and full customer satisfaction.
Service Providers Management:-
Process and manage all inbound, outbound, and sales dispatch activities in full.
Ensure the maximum and best utilization of shipments while matching the required
dispatch timing.
Make sure that shipping documents are well managed on time to avoid shipping interruptions, clearing obstacles, etc.
Negotiate deals with existing logistics companies and service providers and identify
potential ones.
Risk Management
Introduce alternative service providers that fulfill the company policies and guidelines.
Maintain a minimum of 2 logistics companies and service providers.
Liaise with the accounts department to ensure timely payments to keep healthy relationships with all logistics companies and service providers.
Liaise with Plant Managers that all governmental and legal-related documentations are available and valid at all times & handle and manage possible claims.
Reporting
Construct monthly reports on:
The findings, decisions made, and resulting action plans.
Global and regional trends and recommendations.
Potential risks.
Kaizen and 5s Implementation and reporting.
Determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs.
Analysis of shipment logs and review timeliness of all schedule deliveries.
Tracking & coordinating the receipt, storage, and maintain appropriate inventory level.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards & compliance with health and safety.
Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse ground.
Coordinating and maintaining fleets & equipment.
Managing, evaluating & reporting on warehouse productivity.
Communicating & coordinating with other departments & customers.
Tracks expenses related to fuel, storage & maintenances.
Train, guide, and evaluate new team members.
Constantly work to improve processes and make suggestions for product improvements.
Reporting to the warehouse/shipping supervisor.
Planning and scheduling deliveries on a daily bases & Preparing, implementing a plan of
works schedule and assigning tasks to drivers and other staff within the Department.
Coordinating with managers, supervisors and sales team regarding logistics
requirements.
Thoroughly coordinate with management (SC-Analyst) for replenishing the stock to
execute pending orders in an outstanding files.
Managing the Min/Max file within the region.
Continuously implement & control FIFO against each SKU through BIN Locator.
Managing the OTIF tools & generates the OTIF diagnostic report. And schedule the
deliveries against the remaining exceeding days of each order.
Manage primary/Secondary transportation costs per halal. And proper utilization
of vehicles as per capacity (vehicle utilization % in terms of volume/Trip).
Maintain drivers O.T/KM/Fuel cost /maintenance cost.
Constantly coordinate with transporters (3PL) for vehicle (trailer) availability,
negotiating the charges & recover the DN’s & coordinate the materials/information
flow between 3P logistics & other warehouse.
Coordinating with w/h staff for proper housekeeping requirements.
Working in accordance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental awareness
policies and ensuring that the same is known by all employees in the Logistics Department
