SMARTPHONE CONTROLLED GEYSER TIMER DEVICE

The primary purpose behind this project is to design geyser timer controlled device. Geyser controller is a very impressive contraption that can save our 40-60% of gas bill. According to the latest analysis, analysis’s revealed that geysers do not consume much energy and as a result we can get recover or save up to 60% of our energy. In Pakistan, winter is the peak season for domestic gas consumption. Mostly in Pakistan a large number of consumers turn on their water heating devices. Geysers are usually placed at the back of the house or in a corner, which is not readily accessible, so it is very difficult for the user to go out at 5 A.M in the morning to turn on its thermostat. To get rid from this problem geyser timer controlled device is introduced so that one can set ON-OFF schedule for the geyser on his smart phone application that enables the thermostat to the specified dial setting for any particular time slot. We can turn our geyser thermostat to full, half and pilot according to our own requirement and when we switch -off or shut down the geyser as we needed from this application, this application is currently supported by Android and I-phone. Earlier this device was invented by a Pakistani Engineer with a name JAL BUJH but he did not revealed its internal working and specifications .The method we adopt in making this product is completely described in the next chapters .We mainly used the Arduino UNO as a micro-controller and we are introducing the WIFI module instead of other old applications . WIFI module is used as an access point one can easily connect its mobile phone with the geyser controller device without any inconvenience .Different components of different ratings are used in making of this appliance, all the components are easily avail in the market and most effective part is all are very cost effective for us to choose.
