• Plan, implement and monitor all the solid waste management activities. • Ensure proper lifting, transportation and disposal of municipal solid waste through international contractors. • Participate in district coordination level anti dengue meeting and share the intervention updates • Plan implement and monitor the sanitation activities of Lahore city including Desilting of drains, monsoon chocking points, Sunday bazars,ramzan bazar, cattle markets, major roads and metro bus stations cleanliness operations with Punjab metro bus authority. • Directs, coordinates and monitors day to day national landfill site activities of solid waste disposal. • Assist and support the project team in developing TOR (Initial Environmental examination/Environmental impact assessment) IEE /EIA for new project sites having major environmental concerns. • Responsible to supervise and manage operation team including managers/asst managers and zonal officers in day today operational tasks and conduct their annual appraisal performance and evaluation to HR department. • Engage communication department and print media in public awareness campaign. • Prepare environmental compliance reports for the sanitary landfill site. • Coordinate with local environment protection agency and share the project compliance report as per National environmental quality standards. • Assist with budget preparation and expenditure tracking of sanitary landfill site. • Prioritizes and schedules maintenance of landfill facilities, equipment and infrastructure. • Designs and supervises infrastructure additions and/or improvements to the landfill site. • Reviews and approves environmental and geotechnical monitoring reports of the national landfill site prepared by LWMC contractor/consultants. • Performs and/or supervises surveying by staff and/or consultants as needed for site maintenance, environmental or geotechnical monitoring. • Develops and prepares operational reports for the higher managment
