I have bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering and also have third stage boiler
engineering diploma. I have 4+ years of experience in Nishat Group Pakistan. A well
known name in textile industry around the globe.


I am involved in managing
Compressor Plant, Chiller Plant and humidification Plant
My responsibility is to supervise chiller plant having capacity of 2300 USRT. Chillers
include LG, York and Carrier (Absorption and centrifugal Type respectively). Chiller plant
goes operational only in summer season. My role is to maintain chillers in good
operational form, yearly maintenance of machine and general maintenance of cooling
towers, pumps, FCUs etc. Do operational cost analysis per season.

I am in charge of Compressor Plant with generating capacity of compressed air at
1100m3/min which requires 6.4MWs of power . Compressors include Atlas Copco
(screw type) and Ingersoll Rand (centrifugal type).My key job is to maintain the
machines in good running condition by planning their maintenance to reduce the time
of breakdown .Although we have back up machines but minimum breakdown time can
increase overall efficiency of plant. Also my responsibility is to keep all the auxiliary
loads i.e. cooling towers, refrigerant dryer, heat exchangers and pumps in running state.
Manage all the spare parts their availability in stock to meet any sudden break down
and their demand requisitions. Keeping all above work done, I have to share over all
progress of plant, its power consumption, cost analysis with management to update
them with all the matters of plant.

A strong boss needs a strong subordinate. Motivation in work is important, in which I
am good. Keep all the staff aligns by group meetings, planning and brain storming. I
conduct a session once a week in which I teach them basics of science and all machinery
related information. Discuss all the safety measures and hazards related to any job.
