I have extensive experience working with reputable organizations to develop and implement highly regarded projects and interventions, collaborating with various government departments in Balochistan, such as Education, Health, Mines & Minerals, Planning & Development, and other development organizations. My work has included partnerships with international organizations such as JHPIEGO (Johns Hopkins Program for International Education in Gynecology and Obstetrics), IRC (International Rescue Committee), community-based organizations (CBOs), and the corporate sector, including Barrick Gold (Rekodiq). Additionally, I have engaged with federal, provincial, and district-level ministries and departments.
My career has focused on developing and implementing community-level interventions in health, education, livelihood and entrepreneurship, agriculture, and mining. I have held various roles encompassing administration, coordination, community engagement, and monitoring. Notably, I have contributed significantly to improving the lives of rural communities in Balochistan.
For instance, I played a vital role in the ALP project, aimed at enhancing education in rural Balochistan. Similarly, the BLEP project focused on livelihoods, providing training and opportunities for both men and women in marginalized areas, with a strong emphasis on community engagement. Community engagement has been a central theme throughout my career, ensuring that projects meet the real needs of the populations they serve.
Academically, I hold a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) and a Bachelor of Science (Honors). In addition, I have received extensive training in various areas critical to community development. This includes livelihood strategies, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, women’s employment and empowerment, entrepreneurship, and the development of community institutions. My training has also covered the establishment and support of common interest groups, which are essential for fostering sustainable community development.
Through these diverse experiences and educational background, I have honed my skills in designing, implementing, and monitoring projects that drive tangible improvements in health, education, and economic opportunities for underserved populations. My commitment to community engagement ensures that all interventions are inclusive and responsive to the needs of the people in Balochistan & Pakistan.
