Duties and Responsibilities:
 Managing 24x7 Database servers using oracle 11g R2 RAC, Data-guard and Enterprise grid controls to meet high availability and data protection of nonstop business operations over EMC SAN and Centera.
 Installing, Configuring, patching, upgrading and migrating live DB servers with minimal Down time.
 Managing online backups of servers, testing, validating and storing on tape to keep historical Data safe.
 Managing different remote servers and on-going projects of different clients e.g. METRO CASH AND CARRY PAKISTAN, SOCIAL SECURITY HOSPITALS, ARMED FORCES INSTITUTE OF CARDIOLOGY, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH DEPARTMENT, TABBA AND MAROOF HOSPITAL.
 Day today support, capacity planning and performance tuning for Oracle Databases.
 Oracle fusion middleware Web-logic 11g server administration, configuration and troubleshooting and Weblogic Clustering on 2-node.
 Backup and Recovery Administration.
 Install, Configure and Administer Oracle Cluster-ware / Grid Infra Structure
 Apply patches to an Oracle application and database tiers.
 Plane and Configure RMAN backups.
 End to end Configuration, Management and Maintenance Replication using Golden-gate, Bidirectional replication using Golden-Gate.
 Manage the Oracle E-Business Suite using Oracle Applications Server 10g.
 Upgraded oracle 11i EBS production servers to oracle EBS R12 servers and DB Tiers upgraded from 9i to 10g R2, Patching cloning etc.
 Upgraded Oracle 10gR2 SE (Windows 2008) to Oracle 11gR2 EE (Linux 5.9) in 0-downtime migration using Golden-Gate.
 Microsoft SQL SERVER 2005 and 2008 configuration and maintenance.
 Configuration of Oracle 11g gateway for accessing data from SQL SERVER.
 Cloned Multi node system to single node system (Rapid Clone).
 Administering through Oracle Management Server (OEM).

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system at region level, Pro-active and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
 To ensure the Implementation and monitoring of the database backup policies. Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of production and standby databases at NSCs.
 Monitor the Data Replication of online sites of his region. Monitor the database growth and system utilization, trend analysis and predicting future database resource requirements.
 Install and configure standby on Oracle Standard Edition.
 Install and configure application server Tomcat 5.
 Analysing daily Cron jobs on production for extracting data from different environments and load that data to different environments.
 Writing shell script for automating different jobs, checking availability of listener agent control and database.
 Import and export old archives and then retransform it to again export dump using data pump.
 Collecting statistics for database objects daily and weekly basis.
 Implement and managed Oracle Advance replication using MV’s.
 Shell scripts for different database recovery purposes. Deploying Oracle 10g Data-Guard on a Red-Hat Linux v5 Backup & recovery using RMAN with command mode & Enterprise manager.
 Hands-on Oracle 8,9i and 10G and 11g DBA Core Implementation of Oracle Standby on two systems at different branches of National Savings.
 Complete Implementation of Oracle replication using Golden-Gate from Master to client sites and vice versa.
 Having work experience on oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster), Data Guard Oracle Standby and oracle Application Server. VPD, Tools Oracle Grid, Oracle Data Replication, Oracle Enterprise client console 10g/11g, Enterprise Manager, Toad, SQL Loader, Performance Tuning, Data Migration, Cloning, Replication using Materialized views etc.
