Managing Administration Department of BISCONNI Port Qasim with overall responsibility of effective management of efficient services 365 days a year. Cost effective solutions for nonstop production at facility. In addition to this also responsible for workplace improvement & maintenance . Responsible for handling administration of all plant mechanical and technical area. Responsible for contract management for miscellaneous services acquired from different service providers. Arrangement of Lunch breakfast & dinner, monitor maintained Cafeteria for 700 plus employees through Catering service provider and ensure to provide hygienic and healthy food. Responsible for handling all medical related matters of the facility employees. Handling procurement of all major Capex related items i.e. equipment, vehicles furniture & fixtures along with a range of R&M activities. Managing a team of 12 Permanent & 48 Contractual Employees along with the supervisors & employees of different contractors working. Hiring of Labour/contractual staff for day to day basis production. Responsible for dealing with Govt./ non-government institutions like SESSI, EOBI, Sindh Police, Port Qasim Authorities & Labour Department. In addition responsible to develope and manage professional security of the facility. Responsible for handling administration of all DHL Express offices & service centers on total 38 locations/cities of North & Central (Punjab, Islamabad & KPK) region.Responsible for contract management for miscellaneous services acquired from different service providers. Arrangement of all employee regional events which includes annual sales conference, training, social get-together, picnics, birthdays etc. Responsible for handling all medical related matters of the employees of DHL in coordination with insurance company. Handling procurement of all major Capex related items i.e. equipments, vehicles furniture & fixtures along with a range of R&M activities. Responsibilities:
Facility Up-Keep & Office Administration - Responsible for up-keep of country office and rest of the offices and service points of DHL Express along with all major or minor
renovation projects across Karachi.
Procurement - Responsible for major procurement of all Capex items across Karachi and its yearly budgeting and monitoring as well.
Rent Agreements Management - Dealing with Landlords and negotiations for finalizing
rental agreements of offices and service points across Karachi.
Travel Management - Responsible for arrangement of local and international travelling
requirements of the employees. It includes visa, hotel and air ticket arrangements. It also
includes management of pick and drop facility provided to female staff in Karachi as well.
Contract Management - Responsible for handling number of contracts with respect to their service level and also responsible for negotiations with new vendors/service providers by entering into new contracts.
Event Management - Responsible for arranging different events throughout the year across Karachi for employees which includes annual sales conference, trainings, picnics, town hall meetings, birthdays and Iftar dinners etc.
Vehicles Management - Responsible for procurement and disposal of all vehicles of DHL along with its proper timely maintenance as well.
Line Management - Responsible for ensuring efficient handling of administration and line management issues at employees working in my team across Karachi including training and development.
Power Management - Responsible for monitoring the maintenance of generators supplied across Karachi along with generator operators and service providers.
Medical Insurance – Responsible for handling all medical related matters of employees
across Karachi in coordination with Insurance Company.
Provide full tracing services for customers by investigating shipment incidents.
Handle all trace / track enquiries in accordance with service standards and processes.
Giving Solutions to Customers to release their shipments from customs provide information regarding import laws at destination.
