• Draft routine correspondence and visa facilitation letter for incoming missions to facilitate and maintain a filing system to ensure compliance with directives and other relevant departments


• Facilitate administrative, logistic and IT support by interacting with colleagues within and outside the unit

• Prepare, maintain and update information on visiting missions with location, mission dates, contact numbers etc. as per formats prescribed by Security Conduct head count and communicate security advisories to visiting missions (including during off office hours) as and when required
• Assist the home based staff on a need basis
• Provide first line support to job applicants, candidates, and officers.
• Functionality of job application process and online job application system and provide assistance to applicants.
• Assist in contacting multiple communication tools, including social media.
• Assist in scheduling interviews and communicates with seniors and recruiters regarding candidate flow.
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality regarding all matters
• Perform other related duties as required.


• Engaging in administrative support function, such as preparing daily correspondence, preparing TPN, replying daily official mails and telephone calls regarding the consular matters and administrative matters

• As a consular assistant, guide the applicants to how to get and extend the visas and provide general assistance when it required. Extending the visas & diplomatic identity cards of home based staff of high commission of Sri Lanka from ministry of foreign affairs, Islamabad when required.

• Planning & monitoring the monthly schedule of office calendar regarding progress review meetings and monthly staff meeting, preparing DPL bag and schedule and send the report to the head office Colombo, Sri Lanka.

• Receiving delegation from Sri Lanka and giving the protocol according to their purpose of visit

• Computerizing monthly summaries of accounts, preparing salaries of the office staff, assisting to prepare budget estimate every year.

• Preparing tenders schedule which received from, Sri Lanka and circulate this information among all chamber of commerce in Pakistan
