I am young, professional and motivated sociologist, have post graduation faculty from university of Sindh Jamshoro. Aiming to have a career as a development professional, to expertise my skills in various fields of sociology and sociological Research. As a graduate student I had worked and facilitated various research assignments (Thesis the Conditions of Juvenile delinquency and causes at Nara and Center Jail Hyderabad Sindh Pakistan 2009.) development projects, designing and orientation.
Ensure that project related interventions are implemented by engaging the Community Institutions (COs/VOs/LSOs) fostered under SUCCESS
With Work with Community Institutions fostered under SUCCESS for selection of Community Resource Persons (CRPs) to work on community level WASH interventions and selection of VO level agriculture entrepreneurs to be engaged in community level Agriculture and Food Security Interventions
Facilitate VOs and LSOs for development of their plans for achieving Open Defecation Free status, improved access to safe water and availability of nutritious food
Facilitate training events of CRPs, Village level sanitary entrepreneurs, VOs and LSOs for their role in achieving the open defecation free status of villages, promotion of water handling practices and use of nutritious food.
Work with community institutions for improving access of communities to safe drinking water
Provide technical assistance to community institutions for farmer field schools for promotion of kitchen gardening and family farming.
Work with LSOs and livestock department for identification, training of community livestock extension workers and delivery of livestock extension serviced in rural areas.
By engaging community institution identify and train community level poultry entrepreneurs for food diversification
Work closely with LSOs for community level fish ponds and availability of fish at community level
Provide technical support to LSOs for celebration of international days related to food, water and sanitation at community level.
Keep close coordination with officials of Local Government, PHED, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries working at Tehsil and Union Council level and engage them in program activities.
Extend community support through LSOs to Government Departments engaged with Accelerated Action Plan (AAP) for reduction of malnutrition and stunting for implementation of their activities in PINS target districts
Provide support to District Project Officer for arrangement of visits from Government, donor and RSPN
Record keeping of project activities and provide support to District Project Officer for preparation of project progress report
Perform any other official task assigned by the Supervisor/Management.
SUCCESS Sindh Union Council Community Economic Strenghting Program Funded By EU For five years. implimented by NRSP in four districts of Sindh, Matiari, Tando Alhyar, Tando Mohammad Khan and Sajwal.
Overall Objective: Enable the Government of Sindh from 2018 to support and sustain community-driven local development initiatives throughout the province, through the provincial budget, based on a dedicated and costed policy in partnership with Community Institutions.
Key resposiblities as CBO Capacity Building Officer:
1. CO, VO and LSO formation at Para, Village and Union Council Level.
2. To provide Trainings to CRPs on CO formation, CAT and on CIF.
3. To provide Trainings Book keepers/ Accountants of VO and LSO.
4. To provide CMST Community Management Skill Training to CI/CO Bearers.
5. To provide Management & Leadership Training to VO office bearers.
6. To provide Management, advocacy and Leadership Training to LSO office Bearers.
7. To organize activist workshop (Managers Conference) at field office level.
8. To organize Monthly Program plans & review meeting (PPM).
9. To support the CO in developing MIP (Micro Investment Plan).
10. To support the VO in developing VDP (Village Development Plan).
11. Facilitate the LSO in registration of their organization with social welfare department.
12. To support the LSO in developing UCDP (Union Council Development Plan).
13. To work as Supportive Supervisor and back stopping supporter to CRPs in CO formation.
14. Make Liaison with different stakeholders for training at field.
15. TO Design the CRPs Trainings on different Topics.
16. To ensure proper data entry of training activities.
17. Monitoring of Technical & Vocational Skills Trainings.
18. Prepare the Narrative reports weekly, fortnightly and monthly.
