MDF (Main Distribution Frame): Responsibilities: Working on MDF for new/ closing IN-OUT jumpers. Data Entry of New connection and Permanent close connection for future. Receiving different problems like No Dial Tone (NDT), Noise, DSL fault, Drop wire fault etc and escalation to Field maintenance Engineers.
Metro Transport NMS (Transmission) :
Maintain alarm & fault monitoring detailed report of all backbone sites * Operation and maintenance of fiber links, SDH and DWDM * Doing optical power testing using power meter (ZTE & Huawei equipments)
