I have worked in earthquake affected area, worked with internally displaced people due to military operation against militancy, worked with afghan refugee camps, worked in flood affected area.
As the Program Manager at Mahsud Welfare Association (MWA), my psition play a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and management of various projects and initiatives aimed at community development. Below is a detailed overview of my job tasks and responsibilities:
1. Proposal Writing
Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to identify funding opportunities and align project proposals with donor requirements and community needs.
Drafting Proposals: Write detailed and compelling project proposals, including objectives, methodologies, timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes.
Review and Submission: Collaborate with team members for feedback, ensure all necessary documentation is included, and submit proposals to potential donors and partners.
2. Developing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)
Drafting MoUs: Create clear and concise MoUs that outline the terms and conditions of partnerships with national and international NGOs, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
Negotiations: Engage in negotiations to finalize terms, ensuring mutual benefits and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Monitoring Compliance: Monitor the adherence to MoU terms and facilitate regular reviews to address any issues or updates needed.
3. Budgeting
Budget Planning: Develop detailed budgets for various projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial guidelines.
Financial Monitoring: Track and manage project expenditures, ensuring that all spending is within the approved budget and financial protocols are followed.

Advocacy and Networking: Represent MWA in national and international meetings, seminars, and conferences, advocating for the organization’s mission and projects.
Information Dissemination: Share insights and outcomes from these events with MWA team members to inform project strategies and implementation.
9. Conducting Staff Training
Needs Assessment: Identify training needs of staff and volunteers to enhance their skills and competencies.
Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs on various topics, including project management, M&E, proposal writing, and specific project-related skills.
Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
10. Overall Project Activities Management
Orphan Data Management: Oversee the collection, maintenance, and analysis of data related to orphans under MWA’s care.
School Admission and Progress: Coordinate the admission of orphans into schools, track their academic progress, and ensure timely submission of school fees.
Guardian Meetings: Organize and conduct regular meetings with guardians to discuss the progress and well-being of orphans.
Skill Development Programs: Plan and design skill development courses and programs tailored for adolescent boys and girls, enhancing their employability and life skills.

Monitoring & Evaluation
Support MEAL Manager and MEAL department in implementation of HRCPak MEAL guidelines for all the programs and projects at District level.
Support to design, conduct and manage baseline assessments, data collection methods and schedules, special studies and surveys in accordance with objectives and expected results for management and lessons learnt.
Responsible for managing the Project Progress Matrices/ tracking sheets (PPMs) and other data gathering tools based on key performance indicators of all projects/programs and make sure that all projects provide data on timely basis.
To carry out regular field visits to project areas, prepare and disseminate monitoring visit reports to concerned stakeholders for effective and timely decision making.
Provide support to conduct formative and summative evaluation, assessments, baselines, periodic studies that can support in identification and prioritization of problems, as well as project design.
To keep close track of all project programmatic progress; identify and trouble shoot the gaps
Regular updating of MEAL trackers/database for sharing with MEAL manager on monthly basis.
Compile and analyze MEAL functions data on monthly basis and share it with program teams and MEAL manager.
Reporting
Maintain effective and efficient flow of timely and quality reports submission from field office to country office according to the standard temples.
To review field reports to ensure and improve the quality and accuracy of the data reported.
To ensure that reports reflect organization strategies, policies, programming framework and project management tools.
Accountability and Learning
To maintain an Accountability mechanism for timely registration and response to all complaints of stakeholders and to ensure compliance of CHS and HAPs standards/practices
On the basis of complaints, provide regular reports to MEAL department on action taken and needs of improvement in project designs and strategies.
Increase awareness of field staff on accountability mechanisms through formal and in-formal support.
Support MEAL department to develop and maintain “learning sharing mechanisms” for further improvements in program/ project designs and strategy.
Manage complaint response mechanism at Districts level for projects.
Receive accountability data from field, analyses it and share it with MEAL Manager.
Ensure effective management of data on Complaint and Response, Monitoring Action Plan Tracker and MEAL tools;
Any other task assigned by the MEAL Manager.
Complete administrative functions to ensure that the program is properly implemented.
Assist Program Director in preparing quality analytical monthly project narrative and monitoring reports.
Design necessary systems format required for the purpose of project monitoring and reporting purposes.
Prepare analytical monthly, quarterly and donor reports by agreed deadlines.
Develop linkages and coordination with the education department, And District Administration for successful implementation of the project.
Hold fortnightly meetings with the project staff to discuss the progress and constraints, so that a way out could be met for the smooth implementation.
Provide support and guidance to project staff for effective planning, implementation and monitoring of agreed Activities.
Make frequent field visits to project areas to monitor implementation of activities.
Assist Project field staff in resolving the issue arises regarding the project implementation.
Provide feedback to the management regarding issues/problem for the necessary action
