Presently, I am working with the International Organization for Migration in the capacity of Senior Community Resilience Officer in Community Resilience Activity North (CRA-N) funded by USAID. The Senior Community Resilience Officer is responsible for providing technical and administrative support in the implementation of Orakzai District resilience focused programming to support innovative approaches that may increase Civic Engagement, enhance Community Cohesion and support the reintegration of former Temporarily Displaced Persons, while reducing marginalization and increasing resilience amongst remote communities within the newly merged districts in close collaboration with CRA-North Project Stakeholders. The Senior CRO responsibilities & accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
 
1.    Assist the Regional Team Leader (Peshawar) in the design, implementation, and closure of Community Resilience program activities in Orakzai District; in accordance with CRA-North and Stakeholder Strategies.
2.    Support the Regional Team Leader (Peshawar) in managing CRA-North Project Stakeholders, Implementing Partners & Service Provider relationships within Orakzai District.
3.    Responsible for the design, oversight, management, and completion of assigned Orakzai District Activity Opening & Closing Events, Workshops, Field Activities, and Implementing Partner/Service Provider programming with the specified timeframe.
4.    Submit monthly reports to the Regional Team Leader and Communications Department with responsibilities to ensure that Resilience Activity Deliverables are completed as per the Workplan; and in accordance with the CRA-North quality assurance requirements.
5.    Organize and maintain Programmatic Records and Documentation, Resilience Databases, Field Activity Records, Project Correspondence etc. ensuring that these records are updated, accurate and available for inclusion in project deliverables and reports as required.
6.    Mentoring and assist Implementing Partners (IP’s), Service Providers, Provincial & District Government Stakeholders and CRA-North Community Resilience Officers in the planning, execution and delivery of Resilience Activities as per the Project Implementation Agreement (PIA), Service Contracts and MoU’s.
7.    Coordinate and arrange Monthly Implementation Calls with Implementing Partners (IP’s) & Service Providers to discuss the progress with Resilience Activity programming.
8.    Submit timely reports to the Regional Team Leader on any issues/challenges faced with respect to Direct Implementation and/or Implementing Partner/Service Provider programming efforts.
9.    Maintain Close liaison with CRA-N Security unit and LEAs at the District level for effective implementation of the activities.
10. Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.

Community Resilience Officer

9. Engage with and assist in coordination with the Consultants/Stakeholders, technical team members, M&E members, and other relevant parties to ensure effective implementation of CRA-North Resilience Focused Programming.
10. Engaging with Implementing partners (IPs) on multiple topics, including supporting the selection process, work plan management, project monitoring, and reporting (expense and work plan progress reports).
11. Submit Monthly and Quarterly reports to the DTL/Head Office, while contributing to overall project deliverables as required.
12. Work in coordination with the Grants Department and track and update grant documentation and resilience matrix.
13. Schedule and participate in site visits to project locations and provide written findings on a timely basis to the DTL/RTL.
14. Organize and maintain programmatic records and documentation, maintain record databases, track field activities, follow up with partner organizations, while also supporting the production of programmatic deliverables and reports.
15. Organize and maintain programmatic photos received through the 5W (Who, What When, Why Where) in original resolution.
16. Carrying out any other duties as may be required by IOM leadership.
