I am 35 years old having 15 years of experience in designing and managing operations, contracts and grants. Furthermore I have managed department of HR, Finance, Logistics, Security, IT, administration and grants) of organizations in multiple donor environments like DFID, ECHO, DEC, GF and EU and as well managed 165 Million USD Pakistan Reading Project (30 Million USD for World Learning). I have worked in multi- cultural environments and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast paced and complex environment.
I have been able to handle projects with extremely high burn rates while having clean audits reports from top CA firms and Donors in my career so far. I have done project start-ups, expansion, and close downs and automation of international organizations.

The Operations Manager position with Relief International is an integral position of the country senior management team has the overall responsibility for the management and support of all Operations activities for the Country Office and its programming. This position support RI in re‐opening the country presence in Pakistan that includes office, and set‐up, hiring of Operations team and their training. This position will ensure the smooth and effective operations that include multiple sectors and donors.
The USAID-funded 165 Million USD Pakistan Reading Project (PRP), implemented by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and its partners (Creative Associates International, World Learning, and Institute of Rural Management), was a seven-year project with the objective to support the provincial and regional departments of education (DoE) throughout Pakistan to improve reading skills of children in grades one and two.
Through the intervention of the project improved reading instruction and assessment of 23,800 teachers in 23,800 public schools. Towards the end of the project, reached at least 1,300,000 grade 1 and 2 students across 7 provinces of Pakistan.
I was responsible to provide leadership, management, coordination and oversight to operations team with additional support in Programmatic activities from concept note for revise implementation strategy to implementation in remotest areas of Pakistan (Azad Jammu & Kashmir). Furthermore, for the World Learning I have successfully achieved the target of 5.5 Million USD cost share for USAID through the philanthropists / Community Contribution, Sub award to READ Foundation for implementation of PRP in 440 READ Foundation schools in AJK through the partnership, Reading instructional material from SABAQ and AZ Corps (UK Aid). After the completion of activities successfully got the clean audit report from Prime. At the end of interventions within limited timeframe successfully close out project from AJK in 10 districts including one provincial office, completed all the disposition of inventory as per the USAID regulations. Layoff 150 staff, various services contracts were terminated and all payments were made timely and no outstanding received from each vendor and contractor. After the termination of all services successfully completed the audit of project with clean report from 2013 – 2019 and final report submitted within given deadline.
I have assisted WL to establish its offices in Pakistan. I have managed contracts, MoU, agreements, compliance/reporting towards local laws and represented World Learning in meetings with government institutions. My role involves To establish an efficient monitoring and evaluation database system shared between 5 offices on network for various development sectors and generate monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports on specific proformas and formats to provide the information to Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, State Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Agency (SERRA), Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA).
During initial stage of the Earthquake 2005 the main task was to distribute relief stuff to all the affected areas. I was responsible to coordinate directly with field teams for provision of relief in field including camps in District Manshera and Muzaffarabad. During the tenure I have to maintain the complete records of fleet movement with coordination of UN OCHA security team. I was responsible to control and distribute NFI’s (Nonfood items) and FI’s (Food Items). I was responsible to directly coordinate with DMT’s (District Management teams), police and other security agencies including coordination with UN agencies on security and other issues. I need to make check & balance of warehouse, procurements, camp management and vehicles movements. Additionally I have to assist UN OCHA chair Ms. Kristen and coordinator about all the internal and external issues regarding logistics and local government of Abbottabad, Manshera & Muzaffarabad districts.
