My key professional roles and responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

 Preparation and filing of annual income tax returns of various corporate and non-corporate clients.
 Preparation of monthly and annual income tax withholding tax statements.
 Preparation of monthly Sales Tax Returns.
 Dealing with federal and local tax regulatory authorities and handling income tax, sales tax including withholding tax audits of different clients.
 Obtaining exemptions certificates from the application of various provisions of the income tax ordinance, 2001.
 Replies to notices issued by federal and provincial tax authorities ensuring compliance with laws.
 Drafting and lodging appeals with appellate authorities against various assessment orders issued by the taxation authorities.
 Develop an understanding of entity's business, its internal control environment and evaluate business risk, control risk and the overall engagement risks from firm's perspective.
 Understanding the operations of the entities and developing precise expectations for analytical review.
 Communication and liaison with client for discussing issues related to assignment execution, finalization and other complex accounting issues.
 Reviewing clients' financial statements and ensuring consistency with the applicable financial reporting framework including compliance with IFRS, local laws and directives of regulatory authorities.
 Performing statutory audits as per International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
 Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting standards (IFRSs) and Companies Ordinance, 1984.
 Drafting of mandatory communication with the management and those charged with governance.
 Meeting deadlines for reporting while ensuring engagement is not overrun and risk is mitigated to an acceptable level and quality is not compromised.
