Associated to Supply Chain (Warehousing & Distribution, Procurement and Inventory Management) operations for more than twenty years, well versed with operations/backend support services, delivered & achieved expected results with relentless efforts and team spirit. Well versed with end to end Supply Chain Management, process flows, control measures, transparency, lean management, compliances, assets control mechanisms, rationalizations of cost, consistent monitoring, ERP system implementation and ensuring compliances.
Lately, I was associated with Zameen Media Pvt. Limited and Zameen Development Pvt. Limited, rendered my services in areas of Supply Chain Management (Procurement & Logistics) and Business Processes reviews, documentation and roll-out. Prior to Zameen I rendered my services for Raaziq International Pvt. Ltd which includes management of 3PL W&D projects as well as special projects assigned by company. Consistently met desired expectations with sheer commitment and teamwork. Prior to Raaziq rendered my services to TCS for three years and worked for eight years with Warid Telecom (Pvt.) Limited, as Manager Logistics/Warehousing. I joined the company in January 2005 and worked with special project teams for preparing the company for commercial launch in May that year. The projects I worked on include (a) Development of an ORACLE based ERP system (b) Establishment of Logistics teams and (c) Preparing a system, policies manual and SOPs for the operations of the department. In the post launch phase, I actively participated in the successful implementation of the mentioned systems and policies in coordination with our Project Management teams. Owing to this experience of mine, I was selected from within the department to train Bangladesh Team and visited Africa - Republic of Congo for operational setup where Warid Telecom International lately started operations.
responsibilitiesIdentification and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Also making recommendations for the improvement in internal controls, overall SCM practices.Ensuring prioritization of tasks & projects completion within stipulated time frames in accordance with stipulated SOPs.Representation in core team for roll out/ implementation of customized ERP at Group Companies level and for improvisation of end to end Supply Chain in particular.Review and revision of existing protocols/ drafting new SOPs and their implementation.Structural and resources alignment for Supply Chain in accordance with span of management.Evolving and leading internal trainings programs for Supply Chain Management in-house trainings to enhance resource capabilities to meet desired performance levels and targets achievement.Any other task assigned by the top management.
Leading the roll out/ implementation of customized ERP for Zameen Developments.
Bridging the customized ERP with existing systems of company like Sage 300 and other pertinent systems.
Custodian of documents/ agreements with all external stakeholders be it clients/ vendors/ service providers.
Record keeping for all major purchases/ coordination with finance for issuance of asset tagging.
Helping complete the documentation for both projects and supply chain (intra company coordination).
Ensuring adherence to all defined and existing protocols of the company within ZD business domain.
Formulating revision of existing protocols/ drafting new SOPs and their implementation.
Internal follow up with other departments for payments, documentation etc.
Keeping an eye on Zameen Developments KPI’s in terms of activity flow, budgeting etc.
Any other task assigned by the line manager/management
Efficient and cost-effective management of nationwide Supply Chain Operations. Leading nationwide procurements to maintain smooth operational activities (that includes operational tools/equipment, electrical appliances, printing stuff, marketing collaterals, campaigning stuff, groceries, stationeries and build-outs.
Liaise with relevant departments across the organization to ensure that developed strategies and activities are integrated to meet stipulated company objectives.
