I am writing to express my interest in the seeking position, With over 10 years of extensive experience in the development sector, I have honed my skills in project management, livestock management, and community development across various national, international, and government organizations in Pakistan.
Currently, I am working with Care International as an Food Security & Livelihood Specialist. In these roles, I have successfully led numerous initiatives, including a livelihood project with Muslim Aid Pakistan and a value chain project with the Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP). My experience also includes monitoring and evaluation of education projects with Tameer e Khalq Foundation and consultancy roles in livestock management with both Muslim Aid Pakistan and Red Crescent Pakistan.
Throughout my career, I have hands on skills executed various projects focusing on value chain, food security, livelihoods, nutrition, rural development, WASH, and disaster risk reduction. My role as a master trainer for SEHER organization and as a supervisor and master trainer for SALAR Development Foundation has equipped me with the skills to design and implement training programs and small-scale agricultural projects.
Additionally, I bring corporate sector experience from my roles at IZFAAR Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd and ICI Pakistan Limited, where I worked on livestock sales promotion and technical services. This diverse background has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both the development and corporate sectors, enhancing my ability to drive impactful projects.
I hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with a specialization in Parasitology from Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. My academic background, combined with my practical experience, makes me well-suited to address the challenges and opportunities in the above role.
