Automatic Bottle Filling and Capping with the help of Aurdino.

To understand the process we take a start from placing the Bottles on a conveyor. Conveyor is used to transport bottles from one section to the other. We can stop and start the conveyor with the help of Microcontroller(Arduino).Conveyor will be implemented with the help of motor and that motor will be interfaced with the Arduino. Arduino can make conveyor's motor on and off by sending a high or low logic over one of its pins.we are using sensors to sense the position of the bottle. When bottle reaches a specific region sensor sends a signal to the Arduino. To fill the bottle with the liquid we have a liquid reservoir. To control the flow of liquid from the reservoir we have to put a valve or any mechanism. We have used solenoid valves. The reason why we are using solenoid valve is that it can be interfaced with the Microcontroller. Conveyor, Position sensors and Solenoid valve work together in order to fill the bottle and the controlling agent is Arduino board. When the filling process is completed solenoid valve is closed and conveyor is started again to take the bottle to the capping section. A capping placer puts a cap on the moving bottle and the bottle keeps on moving. There is a position sensor in capping section also. Conveyor is ordered to stop. Capping machine is moved downward automatically using a rack and penion system Capping machines comprises of a motor which rotates and like a screw driver. It rotates the cap as well as move downward to cap the bottle. When bottles is capped,conveyor starts again and bottle is send to the destination.
