Providing technical assistance and support to Govt. Emergency Operation Center Punjab WHO Provincial Office in data management, Analysis reporting on AFP, Measles NNT.
Compile, manage, analyze AFP cases laboratory results for Weekly AFP Surveillance Update Shared to all stake holders EOC Provincial Management Units give feedback to all 36 districts of Punjab province.
Provided data analysis/visualization services, developed customized reports, and created GIS Maps using standard tools.
Performed ongoing data analysis and system troubleshooting, research and provide solutions.
Trained staff in extensive data analysis and data collection tools.
Worked with senior management to provide data analysis, create direct segmentation strategies, and design standard reports.
Performing accurate, consistent, data analysis, reporting GIS Mapping as needed.
Providing training to the field staff in compiling the surveillance Immunization data, proper recording reporting of Data producing maps, graphs Tables.
Data Collection of Acute Flaccid Paralysis Cases reported from 36 districts of the Punjab. Very high number of cases reported about 6000 cases per year.
Checking the forms with all aspects all mandatory fields are properly filled correctly.
i)Ensure all complete /correctly filled forms entered in Database
ii)Ensure all incomplete/incorrect forms returned to district for correction.
Update every case on 60 days follow-up examination.
• Provide technical support to the Provincial Office on various ICT areas as and when needed, including on-site and remote support, to ensure reliable operations of ICT systems being utilized by the polio programme in the province.
• Assist in the implementation, integration and on-going administration of the ICT infrastructure facilities being utilized to host WHO applications, keeping in line with WHO ICT Standards.
• Provide installation and troubleshooting support to the Provincial Office’s ICT related equipment.
• Assist in maintaining checklists, procedures and processes for effective ICT infrastructure support and service delivery
• Assist in conducting reviews with regards to support capacity, availability and reliability of ICT infrastructure and services being provided in the Provincial Office.
• Assist to advise the Provincial Office’s staff and non-staff on their ICT needs, technical specifications for ICT systems to be procured or implemented, keeping in line with regional office ICT Standards
• Perform regular back-ups of critical data at the provincial level in accordance with the established protocol and submit it to the Federal Office on a timely basis.
• Serve as a potential backup for other Federal and/or Provincial ICT team members in their absence.
• Carry out any other duties relevant to the job, as required by the supervisor(s) and/or WHO Representative.
Administration
Manage course bookings, and correspond with external clients to provide information related to training events, handle enquiries, book places.
Responsible for processing information for training courses including; participant statistics, evaluation forms.
Follow up with participants on training impact where required.
Assist operations manager in providing accessible, reliable and readily available information of info-tech Pakistan programme.
As part of the office team, assist with general administrative duties including answering incoming phone calls, hosting visitors, supporting volunteers etc.
IT support
Act as the main contact for staff and contractors for IT issues in the office
Responding to requests for IT support in the office.
Installation, security, maintainenance and updating of network, system hardware and software.
Implement agency IT policies and guide users about appropriate usage of equipment and relevant software.
Arrange timely replace of hardware and periodically check equipment for smooth operation.
Maintain and secure proper documentation of IT inventory & network including IT systems, hardware, software, peripherals and software codes.
Ensure timely backup of user’s data and emails.
Making sure IT support to all users and updating all systems requirements.
Close cooperation with info-tech HQ to maintain remote server and email service.
Installation and updating of firewalls and antivirus systems
Liaise with info-tech’s IT and Facilities Manager and info-tech’s IT contractor, RCS, on It issues that require additional support.
Network with and where necessary elicit advice and guidance from in country NGOs.
Catalogue, maintenance and administration of loan equipment.
Any other reasonable tasks or duties as required by the line manager or organization.
