AKES operates over 160 schools that provide quality pre-school, primary, secondary, and higher secondary education services to students in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Kenya, Uganda, Afghanistan, Tanzania, and Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, and Mozambique. I have been associated with AKES, P for the past 16 years. I have worked in different portfolios during my tenure. Currently, my portfolio and major responsibilities include:
• Lead English Department in the region
• Curriculum and syllabi designing
• Monitor the academic programmes
• Develop and administer centralized Examination papers
• Administer the academic intervetions (checking their teaching techniques, syllabi completion, copy checking in the class, paper checking standard, student concepts, delivery of lecture, giving feedback on lesson plan)
• Support school leaders to conduct annual appraislas of teachers
• Conduct professional development sessions for teachers as well as school leaders.
