* As part of SNL's Newsroom we are responsible for two broad mandates—ensuring comprehensive coverage of all the sectors covered by SNL as a whole, and ensuring relevant, proprietary coverage of those sectors.
* On the comprehensive side, SNL News prides itself on ensuring that every piece of published information on the companies or pertaining to the sector has at least some mention in our news archives.
* On the relevance side, SNL reporters and editors are constantly publishing proprietary reporting that seeks to add insight to the main stories of the day. Same reporters and editors are also aggressively seeking to be the first to break big stories in their sectors.
