I am working as a Senior Program Officer, ensuring projects/program implementations on ground as per plan. My immediate responsiblities include following deadlines of activities, planning, managing, monitoring, reporting and presenting progress to managment.  School Safety Planning to ensure each selected school has its safety plan.
 Conduct HVCA (Hazard Vulnerability Capacity Assessment) in selected schools.
 Documentation and reporting of activities.

 Ensure coordination with Govt: line departments/other key stake holders on the DRR activities of the project as project lead.
 Conduct and supervise the entire Multi Hazard Vulnerability Risk Assessment (MHVRA) in the selected village councils.
 Compiled MHVRA report and UC DRM plan based on the findings of MHVRA.
 Facilitate the assessment of existing DRR facilities in the village and compose assessment report accordingly.
 Develop village Disaster Management Plan (DMP) in consultation with Disaster Management Committee (DMC) and project engineer validated by District Disaster Management Unit (DDMU)/District Administration.
 Supervision on overall field activities involving DRR components i.e. community meetings, DRM assessment, DRM planning, simulation drills etc.
 Preparation of monthly, quarterly and final report of the project.

 As Program Coordinator successfully completed DRM/DWSS/WASH projects worth more than PKR 17.5 million within given time line and project cost.
 Overall management of all ongoing projects of the organization ranging from budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and documentation.
 Proposal writing to donor agencies for new projects and assignments.
 Linkage development with local communities, local community organizations (CBOS/V/WO’s), other NGO’s, donor agencies and Govt: line Departments to work more efficiently for the development of the area.
 Management of the entire office and its staff and providing necessary guidance on regular basis regarding target settings, meeting deadlines, reporting and documentation of activities.

 Community mobilization on Disaster Risk management (DRM)
 Preparation of DRM training plans for schools and adjacent communities
 Play lead role in arranging, facilitation and conduct of DRM trainings for communities
 Involved in meeting with key stake holders and Govt: Line departments on formulation and successful implementation of DRM plans developed for schools and villages
 Regular Monitoring and Evaluation of Trainings, community gatherings and other DRM/DRR activities at community level
 Reporting and documentation of field activities on regular basis
 Conduct of DRM baseline KAP (Knowledge Attitude and Practices) study and Post KAP Studies

 Conduct Hazard Vulnerability Capacity Risk Assessment (HVCRA) at School and village level for formulation and implementation of effective DRM plan for the village
 Field monitoring visits, arrangement and management of socialization Events at school and community levels where DRM plan shared with communities and mock drills arranged to check effectiveness of DRM/ evacuation plans
 Established CBDRMO’s (Community Based Disaster Risk Management Organization’s) at the selected areas to ensure the effective implementation of DRM plans at community level.
 Meetings with other NGO’s working on the same subject, DDMA (District Disaster Management Authority) and other Government Line Departments on the establishment of a DRM forum at District level so that an effective DRM plan for the District could be formed.
 Assessment of schools, villages and UC’s regarding HVCRA (hazard, Vulnerability, capacity and Risk assessment) on the basis of the exercise School Safety Plan (DRM Plan for schools) was developed and provided to the selected schools.
 Facilitated and attended DRM trainings arranged for school teacher’s and community volunteers who acted as peer trainers in further dissemination of DRM measures at school and community levels.
 Act as Master trainer in arranging and managing of basic DRM trainings at community and school levels in close coordination with DRM trained teachers and community volunteers.
 Arranged and managed community level meetings with local community members, notables and community representatives on the establishment of CBDRMO’s, formulation of community DRM plans and dissemination of DRM message to community gross root level.
 Conduct a KAP (Knowledge Attitude Practices) baseline survey and POST KAP surveys on DRM in the selected villages of project area.

Under National Internship Programme (NIP) I worked as a lecturer Economics at Govt. Degree College Chitral for 01 year

 Engaged in framing an analysis on financial sustainability of the selected LSO’s (Local Support Organization), worked on report writing, field monitoring and documentation of activities.
