I have completed my graduation in Disaster Management; with the skills in event management and Emergency Management and research work in flood mitigation practices. I also published one of my research papers in the same field. I am still engaged in post-graduation studies in the same field. I worked with PDMA- KP as a Research Assistant and then as a DRR officer with HUJRA and Islamic Relief Pakistan (IRP) for three years. My Practical expertise in the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) as an Internee and remaining a research assistant  gave me valuable exposure to handle different dimensions including  office work, generating concept papers, report writing, meeting minutes etc, and to handle the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) activities, camp management, Field observation, Shelter management, wash management, Warehouse of the camp etc as per International standards designed by International Organization for Migration (IOM). Furthermore; I worked as a social worker with Disaster Management Social Network as an Ex-active body member, where I gain knowledge of social mobilization. I also attend different training, workshops and conferences.

Developed and implement work plans building about School based Disaster Risk Management Plans (SBDRM) and Village Disaster Management committees (VDMC’s) via the Project strategies on DRR and Emergency Preparedness/ Response.

DRR Officer

Research Assistant DRR
Worked as an intern in different sections of PDMA i.e. Disaster Risk Management (DRM) section, Training and Awareness T&A Section, Provincial Emergency Operation Center (PEOC), Relief, and Operation and coordination wing.
Worked as Research assistant in DRM section. Job description Included, Preparation of Monsoon Contingency Plan., District Disaster Management Plans DDMPs, Provincial Climate Change Policies, Preparation of Planning Commission Forms for different Annual Development Plans ADPs.
