A dedicated development professional and a research scholar, with an experience of more than 15 years. Her particular areas of intervention are training and development in general and Education programs’ management, research data analysis in particular. She has been working in these components since 1995 and benefited the communities and schools in rural Sindh.
She possesses extensive leadership experience in the successful implementation of large scale programs for the improvement of the learning environment in schools through in-service and pre-service teacher professional development, interactive and activity-based learning materials development , monitoring and evaluation, research, coaching & mentoring systems for academic supervision, community mobilization, and policy reforms to safeguard sustainability through capacity building of relevant stakeholders
With a demonstrated success in establishing best practices to sustain project goals and advance training initiatives in school consolidation, school clustering and teachers’ continuous professional development. Proven record of conceiving digital literacy, embedded and online teaching learning platforms, online & offline monitoring/ EMIS applications development for Government of Sindh.
She has written and translated several publications in English, Sindhi and Urdu languages, as well as developed dozens of reports, newsletters, behavior change communication campaign materials, produced training manuals, series of activity-based work-books for basic Sindhi linguistic skills coupled with innovative pedagogy methods meant for early age education of students. Equally, She professionally trained on innovative technologies in Education Sector in which she has taught and trained teachers who teach ECE, primary, elementary and college level classes. She has contributed to a set of curriculum books for Early Childhood Education for an international school chain working in Pakistan.
Her planning for Program and the team provided her an incisive understanding of implementing education programs across Sindh. She has been instrumental in providing liaison among community networks, School Management Committees, designed strategies of mainstreaming girls who were out of schools, documentation of Program activities, program monitoring, designing research tools, conducting baseline and endline surveys and implementing training programs. She is capable of developing process for establishing community schools and has introduced system of delivering the good quality of education in private & public sector schools in Sindh. She has developed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) based tools for monitoring students’ basic reading skills for community schools.
She being a free-lance consultant has an experience of developing Qualitative & Quantitative research tools, conducting FGDs, Need Assessments of various Trainings, Workshops followed by seminars and symposiums, that were not only attended but organized in different times in collaboration with various stakeholders of Development Sector and Government of Sindh. She has vigorous experience of Gender based assignments as a cross cutting vicinity in all designations; such as Gender Mainstreaming & rights based programming and develop concrete capacity development plans through systematic capacity development approach, Enhanced accountability for gender equality through establishing a gender focal point system (or Committee, Cluster, forums), Improved and increased interventions that directly support women’s educational, political, economic and social rights.
She is a PHD research scholar and holds an advance Degree of M.Phil in Sociology along with a Masters in Education. She also has a diploma in Early Childhood Education.
She is currently working with JICA as National Project Coordinator in one of its projects, “Gender Responsive Actions through Community Engagement (GRACE)” being piloted by School Education & Literacy Department(SE&LD) in two of the districts of Sindh.
· Overall project coordination on behalf of the GRACE project with counterpart officials of School Education and Literacy Department (SELD) including allied institutions under SELD and any other organizations related to project management, implementation and monitoring.
· Liaising with different stakeholders on local, national and international level.
· Designing and developing Training manual, handbooks and other related resources for the project.
· Management of small school grants for project activities.
· Reporting among various channels of all the concerned stakeholders.
· Oversee all the project activities being implemented at the target Cluster school and their associated cell schools in district Khairpur and Sukkur in the pilot phase.
· Contribute to the development of handbooks, training manual, AV aids for schools, newsletters and any ICT materials as per project requirement.

Design and conduct trainings/workshops/orientations over the concepts of institutional development and the modern pedagogical techniques needed for ECE, primary and elementary levels.
To do research, evaluation of select textbooks for an academic excellence of the institution. Other job duties include mentoring of senior academic faculty; organize seminars and to attend provincial and national level consultations.

Conduct need based seminars on different topics. Assessment and observation of the teachers spreading over an approved plan of the institution.
Conduct demo classes and interviews of candidates applying for teaching faculty. Dealing parents regarding any issues related to students, teachers and administration.

of the subject modalities at class levels.

deserving faculty or non teaching staff and the students. Investigate
issues under the advisement of Chair.

Contributed ideas and activities, wrote guidelines for teachers, proofread the “Little Hearts” Series textbooks developed for Pak-Turk Pre-School
Performed responsibilities mentioned below, being one of the core team members for the establishment of 10 Fellowship Schools in Khairpur District funded by DFID, Department for International Development–British Council and later 40 more schools were established in district Khairpur through SEF-Sindh Education
