• Planning for strategic decision to promote & advance the Institute
• Preparing Feasibilities, proposals and Reports for exploring new projects
• Overseeing the existence performance to vitalize efficient resource allocations
• Building the capacities of current staff in advancement and institute development
• Establishing the Advancement & Development office for resource generation, alumni relations, stakeholders coordination and other relevant tasks
• Monitoring & improving the current institutional policies for efficiency & effectiveness
• Supervising the office of Advancement & Development and its staff

• Leading the team for Developing and managing project plans and timelines
• As the focal point for all calls and fundraising communications regarding the scale up.
• Support humanitarian programmes in securing restricted funds from existing and new donors, by co-ordinating and advising on development of competitive, high quality proposals, from potential donors whenever possible.
• Support the country team in collecting information for proposal and concepts development, draft and review concepts as may be needed.
• Planned, designed, researched, written and presented Business plans to Afghanistan Business
Innovation Fund-ABIF (DFID) proposing 4 successful business
• Successfully developed proposals for more than 12 projects in different sectors
Prepared Program Management, Training and Grant management policies/procedures for Peace
Organization Kabul through Counterpart International
• Liaise and collaborate with all stakeholders including project teams, and end users to interpret the information, defined business procedures and establish documentation ends for regulations and practices.
• Ensure policies and procedures reflect applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain positive working relationships with donor agencies and represent the organization to the donor community as required.

• Participate in establishing organizational objectives, action plans, policies and procedures
• Track communication with partner organizations, grantees and Community Based Organizations; respond to inquiries and requests for follow-on, provide communication and regular updates to all.
• Assist country teams in planning, coordinating development and submission of competitive, high quality concept papers, proposals, and budgets which are successfully funded by a variety of
donor agencies (USAID, JICA, CIDA, DAI, DFID, etc) seeking multi-year funding from potential
donors whenever possible.
• Identify, assess and approach new donors or funding sources and represent HDO as required with donors together with relevant program staff.
• Develop, write and issue a monthly newsletter and progress reports about organization’s
activities
• Managing the community project activities relating to education, health & poverty alleviation

• Lead development of project/program concepts and proposals in line with program assessments, participatory approaches with communities, stakeholders and staff in completion of project submissions for donor funding (USAID, DAI, DFID, JICA, UNOCHA, US Embassy).
• Encourage enhanced integration of all projects and programmes bringing a true holistic approach to development.
• Monitor funding status for each sector of the program to identify possible funding gaps and ensure smooth transitions from one grant to the next.
• Provide support to Program Quality Team in the collection and analysis of essential data for project development and planning.
• Facilitate training and hands on experience on proposal writing, program design for country level staff
• Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure that projects are fully resourced.
• Provide leadership and support to Program Officers based at area offices in KPK
• Develop capacities of technical support staff (POs) to improve their work outputs
• Attend donor information meetings, coordination meetings, and other at which government, donors, & civil society groups are present and programming & funding issues are discussed.

 Played an active role in utilizing the approved funds and implementing the projects by Evaluation,
Interviewing, Orientation of 600 Applicants, assisting ISAC (Institutional Scholarship Award
Committee Meeting) 2009 and SMC (National Scholarship Management Committee Meeting) 2009
which contributed towards the overall budget of Rs. 94.067798 Million/- (Annual Budget) in Session2009-10 detailed as:
o 7.96 Million under USAID Need Based Merit Scholarships (38 MBA General Scholarships)

o 10.36 Million U-FATA LDP Scholarships

o (25 Graduate Level Scholarships)

o 8.3 Million KBLSP 2008

o (20 Graduate and 5 Undergraduate Level Scholarships)

 Contributed with innovative ideas and multi tasks handling in the following areas and
responsibilities of Grants / Placement Office.
 Managing 32 Need Based and 5 Merit Based Scholarship Programs
 Act as the ambassador for the region due to which FATA Students increased to 418 in Session 2009
from 210 in Session 2008.
 Assisting in arranging the 1st Ever Reunion of IMSciences Graduates / Alumni Association
