The Activities associated with the project comprises of installation of compressors (Adhi 5- 39) to maintain the production plateau of Adhi Gas field. Initially 5 nodal compressors will be installed at Adhi Wells 5, 14, 15, 17 and 18. The Project scope is construction of civil foundations, installation of compressor package and associated piping and E & I construction.
The project aims to upgrade and enhance the capability of the existing starch and glucose plant by modifications of existing plant, additions of additional sections, connected by huge lengths of pipe running on pipe racks. The job requires over 100,000 dia inches of welding, both shop and on site, installation of pipes and spools using skilled scaffolders, riggers and erector and hydrotesting.
The major works include hundreds of tons of structural welding including valve operating platforms to the sunshade shelters for major equipments, fabrication and welding of piping spools,welding and installation of a range of piping headers from 10” to 24” jumpovers, underground and above ground flow lines and the wellhead spools. Hydrotesing, leak testing, lay up, sand blasting and coating of the piping, the support to the Aramco Maintenance department for the installation of different kinds of valves, tanks and equipment shelters, provision of pre cast and cast in place foundations,erection of security fence, installation of all the precast and cast in place support foundations for piping, instrumentations and equipments, Electrical and instrumentation cable laying and termination. Installation of the major equipments, switch gear, switch rack, corrosion inhibitor skids, transformers, RTU’s CP anodes, WSD units with associated hydraulic tubing.
Project # 1
The project consists of the construction of the 26” pipe line from AY-1L east west 56” linenear pump station PS-6 to Qassim Power plant to transport crude oil and the installation of the crude oil washing plant at QCPP. This also involves the refurbishment and the testing of 2 existing pipe line portions before connecting to the new pipelines.

Pipeline up gradation projectinvolving Pipeline laying, construction of bypass line & valve stations, installation of pipeline Leak Detection System (LDS) & Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) Including Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), Hot Tapping/Stoppling, Hydrotesting, Erection & Commissioning activities along with associated Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation works.This is one the finest and technically most advanced projects ever I have ever been able to work which requires the highest level of skills, dedications and the safety requirements. I started as fabrication engineer which ended up as the project engineer.
