I started my professional career with Mohmand Model School Mamad Gat as a Science Teacher in 2004. Afterward, I promoted and entrusted the duties as Vice Principal of the school to support and back up the principal to ensure overall operations of the school smoothly. I was responsible to maintain exemplary discipline of the school, keeping school records updated, supporting committees of staff and coordination with parent that function to improve the learning and social environment of the school for the students.
Then I joined Basic Education and Employable Skill Training Pakistan (BEST-Pak) in 2010 (1st June 2010 to 30th November2010) as Team Leader in GFD (General Food Distribution) at Mohmand Agency project under UN-WFP while supporting returned IDPs in the context of food security. In this project I was responsible for the overall management of distribution point like distribution plan and its actual implementation, stock handling and reporting etc.
In 2010 (1st December 2010 to 31st October 2011) I joined FSD (Swiss Foundation for Mine Action) as a Team Leader with technical support and funded by ECHO. I have capacitated the target community regarding behaviour change in the context of Mine Risk. Further I have actively participated in planning, implementation, management, Community mobilization, monitoring and evaluation and reporting. I was associated with the project till end of the project.
In 2012, (7th June 2012 to 31 July 2012) I worked with Basic Education and Employable Skill Training Pakistan (BEST-Pak) as a Regional Supervisor in EACI (Educate a child initiative) Project for Afghan Refugees under UNHCR.
The diversified approach of the projects gave me an opportunity to work with BEST-Pak from 1st October 2013 to 31 December 2013 as an Agency Protection Officer in Protection Project to provide protection services to the TDPs of Kurrum Agency. The project was funded by UN-OCHA under ERF grant/fund.
After successful completion of the project BEST-Pak gave me an opportunity to work in livelihood Cash for Work (CFW) project integrated with Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) as Monitoring and Reporting Officer in various districts of Sindh for five years. The project was financially and technically supported by United Nations World Food Programme. Accumulate comprehensive knowledge and understanding in the context of DRR resilient activities to get the community prepare and enabled them to withstand the cataclysmic impacts of disasters.
BEST-Pak gave me the opportunity to work in Local Level Disengagement and Rehabilitation Project (LLLDR) in Karachi and Swat as Training Officer (TO). The project was financing and technically supporting by UNDP Pakistan.
Currently I joined Foundation for Rural Development (FRD), a national level organization as Reporting Officer in a UN-WFP funded project with the aim to address food insecurity through provision of Cash and make community resilient through rehabilitation of livelihood assets under Food for Assets (FFA) with cash based transfer CBT modality. Afterward, FRD promoted me and gave me opportunity to serve in Food for Assets (FFA) project as Project Manager in tribal district Mohmand.
It is worth mentioning here that my professional record shows consistency and I always stick with my professional responsibilities with zeal and enthusiasm.
