I did Masters in English from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in 2009. I am associated with the development sector for the last 10 years. I have developed my expertise in project planning, Logistics, administration, organizational management, financial management, liaison with line agencies, and monitoring of certain programs including Climate Resilient Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Food Security & Livelihood projects following the Result Based Management tools and techniques. I have worked in 4 flood emergencies including; 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2020 in different districts.
Currently, I am working with Research and Development Foundation-RDF in its Climate Resilient Water Sanitation and Hygiene (CR WASH) project as a Project Manager. Prior to this, worked for one year on a climate Change project with RDF in Khipro, district Sanghar. Before this, I worked on a one-year CLTS project with RDF in the Mirpurkhas district. Also worked on a three years PATS Project with RDF in the Khipro Sanghar district.
In my initial career, during the emergency, I worked with RDF from 2010 to 2012 on different projects of WASH, and EFSL, especially on cash-for-work modalities. Not only did I gain experience in the above-mentioned projects but gained many more on the other projects like Education, Gender, Self-help Approach, Climate Change, and DRR which were the cross-cutting theme of the different projects.
