As I have been working an M&E Officer in a local organization as Sub-recipient (SOCIO Pakistan) for two years funded by Global Fund as the source of UNDP in Baluchistan, Quetta. It was a humanitarian project based on HIV AIDs. The purposes of this project was to identify the MSWs, TGSWs and FSWs. After they were identified, they were registered, later tested for HIV and Hepatitis and provided services like condoms/ lubes and medicines for STIs (sexually transmitted infections) patients.

Baluchistan AIDs Control Program and ART Center were linked with the organization for the purpose of every kind of facility. There were also positive clients taken to the ART Center and registered. Later, the positive clients were treated and provided ARVs.

My role has been very engaging because the management and monitoring and evaluation of the whole program was done by me. I have been verifying both the quantitative and qualitative data. Tracking the social mobilizers, community counsellor, healthcare workers in field. I was also inspecting the stock in the stock room. There was complete coordination of all the staff by me with finance and management. The daily back to office reports, daily reports, monthly reports and quarterly reports were made by me. The successive stories regarding the clients were all written and mentioned on the reports by me. The follow ups of the clients were also done weekly and monthly. The complete program was my responsibility, and I have been trying to fulfill as per my job description.
