I have been working as a District Surveillance Officer, EPI at the DHO Office Dadu since 2018. As a Public Health Professional, I completed the FELTP Frontline Course in 2020 and will complete the second course of FETP in November 2023.

Deliver Health Education sessions which target diseases and immunization schedule.
Motivate the community for healthy lifestyle through Inter Personnel Communication (IPC).
Conduct health education sessions and display/distribute health promotion material i.e. IEC material etc.
Responsible for conducting regular coordination meetings with the relevant stakeholders at UC level and District Level with “Health Officials, Community leaders/Influencers and WHO, NSTOP and Health Department officials TSV, DSV and EPI coordinator about project intervention in PRCS selected Union Councils.
Plan and execute coordination meetings with Health committee members at UC Level and community elders/influencers and religious leaders regarding smooth intervention in the field.
Manage work priorities and collect health-related data from selected union councils.
Conduct field surveillance activities to identify public health risks and inform the relevant authorities about the development of prevention and control measures.
Plan and implement disease outbreak investigations, including conducting case investigations and contact tracing.
Support the development and implementation of public health emergency response plans.
Assist in the planning and implementation of immunization campaigns and other public health interventions.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, health workers, and community leaders.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on field activities, including field visit reports, monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports, meeting minutes, case studies, success stories and performance evaluation reports.
Participate in training and capacity-building activities as required.
Adhere to ethical standards in conducting public health activities and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Coordinate all wheat flour fortification related activities in field including meeting with key stakeholders i.e. Food Department, Food regulatory authorities, Health Department and nutrition development partners etc. • Plan and conduct trainings/capacity building activities for all relevant partners. • In close coordination with provincial manager, assist Provincial Food Department, Food regulatory authorities, Health Department and wheat flour industries in district level planning and execution of program activities. • Provide technical support to flour mills for installation of micro-feeders, its calibrations and setting flow rate of premix as per standards prescribed by Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority. • Conduct regular visit of flour mills and market to ensure that adequately fortified wheat flour is produced and supplied in market. • Ensure notification and monthly meeting of District Food Fortification Committee (DFFC). • To record and circulate approved minutes of DFFC meetings to all stakeholders and to follow up with relevant departments to ensure that decisions taken in DFFC are implemented and reported back. • Coordinate through provincial manager with third party laboratory for collections, dispatch of samples and administration of premix subsidy according to adequacy of fortification. • Plan and undertake awareness raising activities at the district level to generate demand for the fortified wheat flour in coordination with designated organization/agency. • Collate information and data received from the flour mills, compile, analysis and generate monthly reports for submission to provincial office. • Identify issues and bottlenecks related to food fortification activities in the field, report to provincial manager and take mitigation measures. • Represent FFP at various relevant forums at the district levels as request by the team.
To conduct monitoring visits in 10 districts of Sindh to ensure the organizing of Family Planning camps. To conduct and monitor trainings on various topics of Family Planning in 10 districts of Sindh under CIP Secretariat. To conduct joint meetings of DHPMTs and DTCs in 29 districts of Sindh.
