Mr. Zuhaib Khokhar is a versatile permanent faculty member, currently working as a Lecturer in Management Sciences (MS) at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology (SZABIST), Hyderabad. At SZABIST, he is also looking after the role of supervising the research groups for MBA students.
As an appreciation, he has been selected as a mentor of the SZABIST Finance Society (SFS) subjected to develop a set of professional skills which refine and hone the technical skills required to apply knowledge of accounting and finance. In addition, he has also been selected as a Disability Coordinator of Disability Coordinators and Accessibility Committee at Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) committed to the objective no one should be denied access to higher education in Pakistan, which includes ensuring that people with disabilities have equal opportunities to access and attain higher education.
He is specialized in the field of finance and uses to teach various subjects of Management Sciences such as introduction to accounting, financial accounting, cost accounting, maths for business, business statistics, statistical inference, introduction to business finance, business analysis and forecasting, and accounting and financial information systems.
He is an adamant writer and has published various articles and research papers with different publishers. He also possesses a wide range of knowledge of different software of research and accounting and finance. He has a good command of IBM SPSS Statistics, SmartPLS, QuickBooks Pro 2016 Desktop, Minitab, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
He has a good command to conduct training sessions, workshops, seminars, and webinars on different topics and fields.
Teaches four courses each semester.
Drafts course outline and delivers it to the students, by maintaining a conducive learning environment in the class and timely completion of the course.
Mentors and advises students in the selection of elective courses and career development.
Performs teaching-related administrative activities:
Performs invigilation
Prepares examination question papers, marks answer sheets, and class assignments; and prepares examination results.
Records class attendance and maintains individual course records.
Updates ZabDesk.
Prepares a course portfolio to ensure that course objectives are being adhered to, and measures learning outcomes to assess the effectiveness of the delivery of the course material.
Supervises IS and thesis works for the students.
Integrates academic knowledge with research activities.
Responsible for writing at least one research paper/ publication each semester.
Attends conferences, workshops, and training.
Participates in Internal Committees for Department/ University.
Participates in University Advancement Activities.
