Data Analyst/Nutrition Information System - NMIS Assistant
Consolidate the daily nutrition data from the field staff and enter into NIS for weekly reporting. Maintain Files and Office Administration Record. Documentation of Reports. Manage the Stock record in Hard and Soft Copy. Establish relative databases and analytical templates for other data entry, summary, and presentation. Check the quality of the data to be entered and inform the immediate supervisor of any problems. Manage all aspects of the Nutrition Information System (NIS) (critical functions and issues include format designing, scheduling and frequency of reporting) and random tracking of children on treatment and those who completed the treatment. Support the collection and review NIS and health related information (DHIS), identifying potential gaps and inconsistencies, through supportive supervision to field teams and regularly data review and feedback meetings with nutrition sites/health facility/district staff. Closely collaborate with supervise the field staff collecting nutrition and health related data and coach on the process of collection and analysis of health and nutrition related data. Providing feedback to the 1st line supervisor and technical supervisor in issues related to the discrepancy in data. Develop standard reports and documents based on NIS data from the nutrition sites and district. To supervise and monitor the recording of NIS data nutrition sites/district. Follow up with nutrition sites/district and generate reports on nutrition and medical supplies for re-ordering. Close coordination with DNC at district and Manager (NIS) at head office for updates of Nutrition project.
Any other tasks as assigned by Supervisor / Technical Supervisor.
