1. Coordination Tasks
Organize and divide the tasks among the engineers of the different locations, supervising their work and guide them for a correct implementation
Coordinating with the project team members, project coordinator and program manager and other relevant actors in the area.
Share regular update with Program Manager, the Project Coordinator and the Programs Director on behalf on the engineering project team
Coordinate with PIN departments to ensure the smooth and transparent implementation of the activities
Support the Project Coordinator in organizing the community workers that will develop the renovation/creation works
Liaison with external stakeholders, including partners and donor, with regard to the rehabilitation, construction and any other engineering projects components
Lead the handover process to the local authorities/farmers associations
Archiving relevant documents in a precise and detailed manner
Capacity building of the colleagues
2. Preparation of Documentation for engineering project
Planning and conducting technical assessments in targeted areas, collecting field data; writing reports and providing advice based on the conclusions drawn.
Providing inputs for/preparing rehabilitation and construction works of irrigation and agricultural infrastructures, and all other engineering works included in the project
Preparing bills of quantities (BoQs)
Planning in coordination with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Directorate of Water and Agriculture, partners, mukhtars, mayors, clusters, communities…etc)
Supporting the Procurement Department in purchasing the related materials and services;
Providing input and performing quality checks for relevant procurement; supervising/coordinating/monitoring the delivery/distribution of materials and construction process.
Preparing corresponding documentation and periodical/ad hoc reports, depending on needs

3. Overseeing Engineering Projects
Overseeing and ensuring the planning, scheduling, and implementation of the technical components of the project, in compliance with the authorities, donor and PIN needed procedures, standards, and safety codes and other applicable legal regulations.
Conducting site inspections on a regular basis. 
Monitoring and evaluating rehabilitation and construction works in accordance with the accepted plans and other relevant documentation.
Operating adjustments depending on needs and based on consultations with the relevant stakeholders, team members and project/programme manager

 Develop bill of quantities & drawings for the validated schemes.
 MIS based project designing
 Preparation of instalment on the basis of community work done
 Review, verify and validate communities payment/bill documents
 Control quality and progress of CPI’s
 The signing of TOP with the community for the completion of CPI’s
 Assurance of the participation of Line Department
 Preparation of weekly, monthly work plans and construction progress reports
 Completion of CPIs under the prescribed duration
 Preparation of monthly CPI’s based monthly progress report
 The inducement for the operation and maintenance of CPIs to the community involved.
