I have recently moved to the Payment section of the Finance Department in Meezan Bank Limited, owing to the acquisition of HSBC Pakistan business by them. In this role, I am looking after the entire process of payments due to be paid by the bank to both internal and external stakeholders. This involves liasioning with Branch Managers and Administration to complete the processing and making the final payments

• Responsible for Staff Fund Management i .e Provident Fund and Gratuity Funds Account, in which I acted as custodian of all PF and GF related matters.
• Primary role was to act as the bridge between the HR, Fund Trustees and both internal & external investors to manage the funds in best optional manner.
• Regularly review the internal investment policy and liaise with fund managers and trustees to decide on best investment option for the fund.
• Worked with external stakeholder to get the Actuarial evaluation of the Gratuity Fund and this amount is reflected within the balance sheet.
• Ensure easy availability and accessibility of fund allocations to different stakeholders such as Trustees of the Fund Committee, auditors and senior management by creating and maintaining a detailed MIS encompassing all areas of fund management.

• Submission of monthly and annual staff EOBI return of all staff to Employee Old Age Benefit Institute through their online portal.
