Prepare monthly invoice.
Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.
Managing and tracking the productivity of the billing team.
Analysis and research on medical claims.
Overseeing billing, receivables and payment schedules.
Keep informed of all the changes in rules and regulation in insurance carriers.
Actively follow up and collect on all electronic claims, including resolution of any billing errors assigned following established procedures.
Meet with management team to discuss collection reports, and develop opportunities to reduce denials, share carrier rule changes and distribute the information within the office.
Monitor reimbursement from managed care networks and insurance carriers to ensure reimbursement consistent with contract rates.
Assist with hiring, training office staff and terminations.
Maintain an organized, efficient and professional work environment.
